Why can't I use a regular removal company for my piano?

Pianos are extremely heavy, structurally complex and valuable. Attempting to move one without specialist equipment and training frequently results in damage to the piano, to your property, or injury to the movers. Do I need to have my piano tuned after it's moved?

Yes. It's always recommended to have a piano tuned after a move, as changes in temperature, humidity and the movement itself affect the tension of the strings. We can recommend qualified tuners in most areas.

Can you move a grand piano up or down stairs?

Yes, though it requires careful planning and sometimes specialist stair-climbing equipment. We assess the staircase and access points during our survey and bring the right equipment for the job.

How long does a piano removal take?
